What we look for
We're a small, early-stage team. There is no HR department, no leveling framework, and no one to hand you a spec. You'll work directly with the founder on problems that sit at the intersection of AI, EU regulatory compliance, and fintech infrastructure.
That means you should be comfortable with ambiguity, interested in domains most engineers never touch, and motivated by building something that works — not something that demos well.

The system reads invoices in any format, extracts structured data, classifies line items into EU Directive expense codes, and verifies each one against per-country deductibility rules. You build and maintain the pipeline that makes this reliable at scale.
You'll work on
- LLM-driven document extraction and structured output
- Rule engines that encode 27 member states' deductibility logic
- Compliance verification pipelines with auditability requirements
- Accuracy measurement — every gate needs to be defensible
Business Development
Reports to CEO · Remote · EU timezone preferredFind and onboard design partners — mid-market finance teams with cross-border EU spend who currently either pay advisory firms too much or write off the VAT entirely. You'll learn the domain deeply and shape how we go to market.
You'll work on
- Identifying companies with recoverable cross-border VAT
- Running the outreach and qualification process
- Shaping the go-to-market playbook from first principles
